After spending the last couple of weeks talking up Rent the Runway and berating my sorority with emails leading up to Semi-Formal, my beautiful friend Alison took a peek at the site’s dress selection and fell in love.
Specifically, she fell in love with the Tibi Embroidered Keyhole Dress in Sage. It was the perfect combination of sassy and classy with the deep V-neck and unexpected cutout in the back. As much as she tried to resist it, she knew she wanted to wear this dress and had to rent it.
“I thought the dresses would be way over my price range, but it turned out a lot were ones that I would think about buying for myself but were too pricey to buy immediately, so renting was a great alternative.”
Alison accessorized with her own silver dangly earrings, bought especially for the dress, and a bracelet to Kappa Delta’s Semi-Formal at Wake Forest. Once at the event, it proved to be a perfect dancing dress for Alison, who tore up the dance floor along with her date.
“I am so happy I rented the dress for my last sorority function as a senior,” Alison said, “I wanted a dress that I was really excited about since I didn’t know the next time I would be able to dress up.”
