Yesterday marked the launch of the ninth issue of MODA Magazine at the University of Chicago! To celebrate this event MODA, UChicago’s fashion organization, hosted “MODA in Print,” a launch party for over 150 guests at the SMART Museum of Art.

Guests who came out enjoyed complimentary issues of MODA Magazine, music by DJ Chicago School of Bass, macaroons, cupcakes, the SMART’s Andy Warhol exhibit, summer sips designed by MODA and even a photo wall! The party was the ideal way to let go during a stressful week.

The MODA board members who attended dressed in Rent the Runway stood out, meeting the night’s theme with sexy cocktail dresses! Members had so much fun choosing dresses that met each of their distinct fashion preferences ranging from the spring and casual appeal of Yumi Kim’s By The Lily Pond Dress, to trendy and edgy Robert Rodriguez Crimson Scalloped Dress. With so many different fashion tastes, Rent the Runway was the perfect one stop source to have a fashionable evening. Moreover, the dresses were a total hit, with everyone approaching board members, complimenting the dresses and asking about them!
