As I was wandering around the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, what stood out to me among all of the designer’s extravagant runway ensembles was the classic nautical stripe look.  The greatest thing about it is that it never gets old, and it always looks put-together.  Jean Paul Gaultier might go a bit overboard most of the time, but take his runway looks and make them into your own by checking out Gryphon’s Nautical Stripe Mini Skirt for sale on Rent the Runway!  This classic navy and white color-scheme is simple yet can go so far if paired with the right accessories.  Try it with something bold like the Judith Leiber Cherry Bomb Clutch, and everyone will be asking you how to achieve the look!

Another classic style on display at the exhibit was the natural tones with hints of dark lace.  This combination of simple and intricate makes for an eye-catching outfit every time.  Tibi’s High Tea Dress is the perfect example, and pairing it with the RJ Graziano Dress Me Up Necklace makes it even classier.

I know I’ll be renting these looks this summer.  Will you?
