Tired of tangled necklaces taking up your time? This DIY project is equally affordable, easy to do and the result is stunning! With a little inspiration from these vintage frames, which are no longer available from Pottery Barn, you can create these dazzling displays on your own! All you need is a few frames, varying in size, which you can pick up at a local flea market or vintage store. The steps to making a beat up frame into an elegant jewelry hanger are as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Remove the backing and any glass so you’re left with just the frame.

2. If you’re not happy with how they look, paint the frames to your desired color. The Pottery Barn frames are an antique white, but you can go as bold and you want with these to match your room decor.

3. Secure some pretty push pins along the top ridge of the frame to hang your necklaces on. If you’re planning on showing off your earring collection, instead, string a few lines of fishing wire across the back of the frame and either staple gun or glue the ends into place. Voila!
