Whether you’re moving into a dorm or an apartment, everyone needs desk space during college. Usually, these are the ugliest areas in the room and the least inspiring to get anything done. With a quick trip to Ikea or Target, however, you can change all that and save tons of money.
This awesome desk space looks expensive, but is actually quite reasonable. The wall behind the desk is made out of a combination of cork, dry-erase, chalkboard, pegboard and magnetic surfaces. By covering the cork with pretty fabric, you brighten up the area and make it look less like an office cubicle. Just add a few desk accessories to bring everything to life!
