This week I thought it would be fun to round together my favorite guys and have them take a little poll on what their favorite Rent the Runway dresses were!
When I am picking out what to wear for a big date, I always keep the guy in mind, wondering “what will make his jaw drop.” I am sure I’m not the only one! Well, send a thank you too these guys and their new found expertise. They were given 25 dresses to look at and rate on a scale of 1 to 10. Here are their top 5 (in no particular order) and what they liked about them!
Herve Leger's Sailor Bandage Dress - John says "Formfitting, short, and elegant all at the same time."
Temperley London's Mini Corry Dress - Joe says "Playful...good length!"
Badgley Mischka's Lady of Love Gown - Jeremiah says "Nice bright color."
Pency's South Beach Sunset Dress - Jake says "Skin plus flowy material equals a great pick."
Yigal Azrouel's Very Violet Draped Dress - James says "I like seeing the shoulders with the one strap."
So to give you an overall of what they liked and didn’t, here are some tips!
-What they like:
Short, elegant, simple dresses. Simplicity is key. A majority of the guys liked dresses they thought were practical too, like dresses with pockets!
-What wasn’t their favorite:
No fluffy, loose, complicated aspects.
-My favorite quote I heard through this experiment was,
“If it is the right girl in the dress…”
So, I guess what it all comes down to is, you find the right guy, and he will love whatever you wear.
