Joey Maloof, the man behind Rachel Zoe’s bohemian, effortlessly glamorous hair on The Rachel Zoe Project, recently shared some tips on ways to achieve Rachel’s gorgeous locks on Refinery29.com. He shared many tips to achieving this “perfectly undone” look, mainly using one of my favorite products: Sheer Hold Hairspray by Frederick Fekkai. The spray keeps locks in place, without sacrificing that effortless look, to help you achieve Rachel Zoe’s sexy “Model Off-Duty” hairstyle. To achieve the look, simply separate wet hair into three sections, braiding each section, and making sure to make each braid tighter at the top and looser at the bottom, leaving 1-2 inches of hair unbraided at the bottom. You can either sleep with the braids in, or lightly blow dry the hair. When hair is dry, gently unbraid the hair and lightly run your fingers through your hair to achieve the mussed up, lightly touseled look. You can curl random pieces to achieve a more put together look, or keep hair messy for a more casual day look.
