Pitt channels his inner badass in Fight Club (1999)

Brad Pitt to Retire at 50

Brad's first ever gun show made him instantly famous in Thelma & Louise (1991)

The entertainment world has been abuzz with the most recent scoop from the Pitt-Jolie clan — and no, they’re not adopting another child (at least not yet).

In an interview with Australia’s version of “60 Minutes” earlier this week, Brad Pitt revealed that he will retire from acting at the age of 50. But that doesn’t mean the mega star is skipping Hollywood for good and retreating into the quiet life of fatherhood; when pushed further, Pitt admitted that his newest passion is best served from behind the camera, telling the reporter, “I’ve really enjoyed the producorial side and getting stories to the plate that may have had a harder time otherwise.”

For those of us who grew up with the leading man’s face plastered all over our lockers, that means we have only three years and a handful of new movies left to ogle him in (check out the Money Ball trailer below, it may be one of his last!). But let’s admit it, Pitt — the first man to ever win People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” award twice — has slowly transformed from sexy to messy, and hasn’t lived up to his super-hunk status since — well, probably about the same time he filmed Mr. and Mrs. Smith and left Jennifer for Angelina.

So, for old times’ sake, here’s the drool worthy highlight reel of the ultimate pretty boy’s all-time-studliest hits:
