As much as we all like to believe that we have the time and energy to wake up every day, take a shower, blow dry and straighten/curl our hair, apply our makeup, and then go to class, this is simply not the case. In fact, the sad truth is that I consider it to be a successful day when I put on some mascara before class, let alone take the time to do my hair. Due to my distaste for early morning beauty regimes, I discovered the beauty of dry shampoo in high school. I have pretty thick hair, and for this reason it doesn’t need to be washed every day, however some days my locks can use a little extra something to give them the volume of a blow dryer in a fraction of the time, which is where my Suave Beautiful Clean Dry Shampoo comes into play.
For those not familiar with dry shampoo, you are missing out on an amazing product. Normal shampoo works by removing sebum, hair’s natural oil, as well as dirt, flakes, and all other excess particles in your hair. Dry shampoo absorbs sebum when it is sprayed onto the roots of the hair rather than rinsing it away and is then brushed out, leaving your mane lighter and cleaner. The best part about my favorite Suave Dry Shampoo is that it works as well as any expensive salon brand (I’ve compared both), and only costs $9 at drugstores! Suave Beautiful Clean Dry Shampoo is the best (and cheapest!) way to treat yourself to a lazy hair day without anyone knowing the difference. Trust me, it will change your life! Or, at the very least, your mornings.
