Rent the Runway girls at Boston College had a special treat during their recent trunk show – ABC Channel 5 Boston TV showed up to film and interview the girls for a Rent the Runway segment!
The event was hosted on November 13 at an off campus house close to Boston College. Twenty different dresses were featured, all in the $50 rental range.
The theme for the Trunk Show was “Holiday Sparkle” and all the dresses were selected with the intention of being ideal for a holiday party or NYE.
The show was limited to a select 30 guests to make room for the camera crew. The BC RTR Team served home baked chocolate chip cookies, candy, and popcorn to munch on while viewing the dresses, perusing the holiday look book, and modeling dresses for the camera crew.
Katie Duthaler, the team manager, gave an interview on what Rent the Runway is and why it is such a great idea for any woman and college students. Katie then showcased 5 of her favorite dresses for the segment, using BC girls and the other RTR Reps as models.
All girls that rented at the event recieved 20% off their orders. All in all, it was a great time, and filled with excitement! Everyone that was there can’t wait to get their 15 minutes of fame when the segment airs!
