Oh boy. Have you been on a couple dates with the same guy recently and now you are wondering if you should invite him to the family Christmas party and make things official? Answer these three questions below to find out if he is boyfriend material.

1. Is he compassionate?
You gotta find the tough guy/cuddle bunny balance! He must be caring and thoughtful to make this work beyond a few dates.
2. Does he have an open mind?
Boyfriends are not supposed to judge you. They are supposed to love you for who you are. Plain and simple. So make sure he is supportive of your past, present, and future. Whether he is open-minded to a stupid decision you made in high school or to that new date idea you wanna try out, he should just smile and know that your crazy ideas are part of the reason why he loves you.
3. Does he have a sense of humor?
Now, this one is up to your own interpretation. My boy and I are super sarcastic with each other, which makes me laugh, but I am sure some of my friends would think that’s not funny at all. But to me, it is the exact humor I love the best! So a sense of humor is important, but don’t worry if other people don’t think he is funny. All that matters is that he can lighten your mood and put a smile on your beautiful face.
Has he passed the test? If so, yay! What a happy holiday it is for you! If not, move on. There is more fun to be had with someone worthwhile.
