Happy New Year RTR on Campus readers! After having a very low-key New Year’s celebration myself, it gave me time to reflect on the year that has past by us. It has been a crazy year, not just personally, but for our nation as a whole.

Bringing in the new year also means many of us will be bringing on New Year’s resolutions, but my challenge for you is to write down your top 5-10 moments of 2011. Whether they are personal or world wide, keep them in a safe place so that you can refer back to them as you journey into 2012. Remind yourself how great your year was and know that your life is only getting better! Now that is a resolution you know you can keep!

Here are a couple that top my list

- 2011 meant that I am halfway done with college. Whoohoo!

- The royal wedding… staying up till 4 in the morning really made it a highlight of my year.

- Celebrating 2 years with my boy :)

- Becoming a RTR on Campus Blogger!

- Oprah saying farewell…sad, but a great moment.

I cannot wait to get 2012 into full swing so I can top these moments. Tell me what is on your list that made 2011 unforgettable. Need help? Check out People Magazine’s Best of 2011. And have any thoughts on how to make 2012 even better? I would love to hear them. Happy New Year!
