We’ve all heard about H&M’s recent work with Versace and after that collection we were all anxious to find out what the very popular retailer had for us up their sleeves next. Well here it is, renowned director and creator Sofia Coppola has been selected to direct the advertising film and print campaign for H&M’s upcoming collection. The collection is a collaboration with the “upbeat” and “artsy” Italian fashion label Marni. Founder and creative director of Marni Consuelo Castiglioni, says to expect colorful tribal prints mixed with Bauhaus graphics.
This collection marks H&M’s second partnership with a high-profile Italian brand in less than a year, not to mention the work the chain has done with Karl Lagerfield, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo, and Lanvin. The collection of women’s and men’s clothing and accessories is set to go on sale March 8th in about 260 H&M stores worldwide and online. If you can’t wait for March 8th then you can check out this video for a sneak peek at this fabulous collaboration.
Later fashionistas,
