What a genius way to embrace the bare tree limbs that, unfortunately, have a few more weeks before they begin to become green and leaf-filled once again in New York. This project is extremely easy and the finished product is absolutely beautiful.

You will need:

  • Fresh twigs (if they are too dry, the bangle won’t last)
  • Gold or silver metallic spray paint
  • Glue gun
  • Thread

Simply, cut the twigs to make circles that fit just slightly bigger than your hand. Bend the cut twigs into a rounded bangle shape, and double at the very end. Then wrap up the doubled end with thread to secure the bangle’s shape. Put just a dot of glue to secure the thread there.

Spray paint the bangles, making sure to coat them entirely. Spray a few coats if you want the color to be more bold, otherwise one coat will give the bangle a more subtle, natural look. Let both the paint and the glue dry completely and enjoy!
