So apparently Britney Spears is in talks with the producers of “X Factor” about joining the judge’s table on the hit show. I don’t know about you, but seeing Britney in the news (fine, E! News) again definitely reignited my over decade-old, undying devotion to everyone’s favorite America’s sweetheart-gone-head-shaving-lunatic-gone-low-key-mom. Even though I can admit to a very real obsession with “The Voice,” I don’t think I’d have a problem fitting another talent-themed competition show into my schedule if Britney were involved. Admit it, you need some more Brit in your life too.
To that end, I’ve included a look at the pop princess’s signature style, featuring current-day Brit and old-school Brit looks. I’ll show you how to achieve her style with Rent the Runway pieces, but don’t worry, the suggestions for old-school Brit looks will be very loosely inspired by the originals. Not that we don’t love that red latex body suit, but let’s just say it’s not the ‘90s anymore.
