With the Season 5 premiere of Mad Men just days away, girls everywhere are clamoring to transform themselves into the best Betty Draper they can be. Take a Sunday night off from lounging in your sweats, and transform into a 60′s housewife. Go all out for the chicest night of television and have your very own Mad Men themed party!

In the recent article published in Forbes Woman by Leah Bourne, she delves into how great a role fashion has played in the popularity of Mad Men. Banana Republic designed a whole line dubbed “The Mad Men Collection” and Miuccia Prada has reportedly drawn inspiration from the 60′s style for her Spring 2012 collection. Clearly, the fashion industry has picked up on the effect that the critically acclaimed show has had on consumers.

The great thing about Mad Men is how relatable the characters can be. Each of the lead women on the show has their own distinct style: Betty Draper is lady-like and refined, Joan Holloway is the vixen, and Peggy consistently hides behind her long skirts and collared shirts. Gather round your best friends for a night of finger food and kitten heels and tune into Mad Men on AMC at 9/8c.
