Celebrities are known for jumping off the style deep end, but lately they have been really taking a plunge. The new fashion craze is plunging V-necks and skirt tails.

We all remember the Simon Cowl, too low for anyone’s comfort, V-Neck. While nobody found the hairy man chest look attractive, recent stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, and Miley Cyrus have recently found a way to transform this look into a classy, sexy, must-have.
The trick is to not over do the skin. While a little bit of skin is sexy, remember to leave something for the imagination. Since the location of the cut is on the chest, I recommend keeping the rest of the look classy and covered. Allow the cut to be the main focal point of the outfit. Since the outfit already has a main focus, minimal accessories are necessary. Wearing a bra is completely optional; just don’t forget your sticky tape if you decide not to. Adding a detailed bra can add a little edge to the outfit. The key is to own the extra detail. You don’t want it to look like you accidentally forgot that your bra can be seen.
The hi-low skirt has recently become an accessible must-have for everyone. The plunging skirt tail is an effective way of showing some leg without the worry of your skirt riding up behind. Nobody ever said that a party in front and business in back was out of style. The slit in the front makes what could be a very formal dress more casual. Demi Lovato and Kourtney Kardashian were spotted wearing this style at the Teen Choice Awards. This style is runway ready while also appropriate for a day at the beach.
Since the majority of these skirt that you’ll find will be high-waisted, a popular trend is to pair the skirt with a midriff or cut off top. This can be a great opportunity to add a little color blocking to your style. To rent the look, check out RTR’s Up In the Air Dress.
Don’t be afraid to add levels to your style. The plunge is a fashion risk we recommend that you dive into.

I love this! Although as a guy I don’t understand some of the terms, I especially enjoy the idea of leaving part of it the skin to the imagination. Guys find that a lot more attractive, and that they won’t admit. If they’ve seen it all, they won’t come back to see more. Great article, Chloe!
