Being an Intern can be challenging. Trading your  2 am to 11 am sleep schedule in for early mornings is pretty hard, especially when you are running around doing a million things, not being paid, sometimes being yelled at (except at RTR). It’s hard to get yourself together in the morning when you want to be trendy and fashionable but you are really tired. Here at RTR On Campus, we decided to make it easy for you. Here are a few dressing ideas to make work wear fashionable, expressive, and appropriate.

Try a Bright Dress: A dress makes life really simple because you literally just have to slip it on. The brighter you can go with dresses the better. Color expresses confidence and playfulness which is a really excellent thing at the office. Tangerine is the color of the season. It was all over the red carpet and runways. A good thing to note is that unless you are planning on color blocking, keep your accessories neutral.

Go for a Peplum: A peplum shirt is really in trend right now. It is universally flattering because it created an hour glass shape making your waist look smaller. I love to wear it with a skirt because it is a slimming look. To mix it with more trendy items, add a collar necklace and over the toe strap sandals.

Embrace the short suit: The short suit is great for summer. It’s casual yet professional. I chose a neutral pink color because neutral were really popular for spring and through the summer. Pair it with flats and bracelets for a polished and put together look.
