From August 3rd to August 5th thousands of fans flock to Chicago for the anticipated three-day festival Lollapalooza. This years line up is said to be one of the best they have had in a while with artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Passion Pit, Florence and The Machine, Avicii and many many more. Lollapalooza is home to over 130 artists featuring all types of music from alternative rock, hip-hop to electronica.

It started when Perry Farrell started to play a farewell show and his idea turned into a music festival that would soon to bring people from all over the country together purely for the music.

The music festival hosts more than 160,000 people over the three days. I have never been but it is definitely a music festival I would love to attend. Three day passes start at $200 and sells out very quickly. If you can get your hands on a three day pass its something I wouldn’t pass up. Summer music festivals are a great way to get together with friends from all over the country for a weekend you will never forget. There is nothing better.
