Like any other RTR Campus Girl, there are few things I love more than a great theme party. Events like this give us a chance to combine fashion with creativity, and try on some outfits outside our usual style. One theme that has been especially popular in recent years a jungle theme. Here are some outfit ideas to help you walk on the wild side!
Rent the Runway has a number of animal print dresses, but this aptly named “Time to Pounce” dress from RTR on the left is my favorite.

However, even if you don’t own an animal print dress, the jungle theme is great because you can easily dress up an LBD with animal accessories. This Shosanna dress from RTR has a subtle leopard print, but any black dress will do! Just pile on the accessories and you’re ready to go! Grab this Leopard Clutch from Rent the Runway, also available in zebra print. Next, slide on these patterned sandals for a comfy but chic pop of animal print. Finish your look off with a leopard ear headband! (Remember this is for a theme party – I wouldn’t normally suggest wearing a headband like this, but hey, everyone has their own style!)

Want to stay in theme, but not feeling the animal prints? Don this Utility Shirtdress from Forever 21, for a safari guide vibe! The Amazon inspired earrings reflect the lush colors of the rainforest, while the natural colors of these wedges keeps an earthy look to the outfit. With your binocular necklace, you can spot wildlife all across the party, but don’t overlook the elephant bangle right on your wrist!

Finally, for a more unique look, consider trying this Into the Jungle romper (currently on sale!!!) from RTR!  When dressing for a jungle event, people typically don’t think of snakes, but with this coil snake ring and matching wedges, everyone else will be green with envy! Finish this bold outfit off with this statement necklace that I adore, and you’ll be the queen of the jungle!

Remember, inside each of us is a wild thing, so have fun with your outfit and go wild!
