I have to admit that in the past I may have invested a little too much into my beauty collection. I was under the impression that I NEEDED every shade of nail polish, blush, and eye shadow. My wallet was not so happy about this. So I decided to go on the hunt for a new source to fill my makeup cravings. While talking about my issue with a friend she asked me if I had ever heard of The Beauty Department. Shocked that I had not, she went on to explain that it was her go to source for new ideas involving everything beauty. The site immediately caught my eye when I discovered one of the contributors was Lauren Conrad. Throughout the page one can find really fun ways to switch up their current routine with what they already have. Hello, easy nail art and personalized face pallets! My favorite post thus far gave ideas on how to pair your jewelry with a makeup pop. A bohemian ring goes great with bronzer, statement earrings on should go with a bright lip, and with an art deco necklace is the perfect time to pull out retro liner. This customization allows any eye color, skin tone, and ages have a lot of fun with what’s already in their makeup bag. Since visiting the website all my friends have taken notice of my new ideas and implementations in my beauty routine. I’m proud to say that I am no longer going crazy on the make up. So I guess its now time to find a fix for my clothing addiction?
