Last weekend I was looking for the perfect snack for the afternoon at the beach with my friends.  We decided to make guacamole because 1) it’s delicious and 2) it’s super easy.  I like my guac simple, so here’s my 5 steps and 5 minutes:

 

  1. Slice your avocado in half.  I used 5 avocados to serve 8 people…but we were really hungry.

 

 

 

  1. Take out the center pit, so you can easily scoop out the avocado from its peel.

 

 

3. Chop tomatoes

 

 

4. Mash up the avocado with a fork.  Keep mashin’ till it’s really mushed up.

 

 

 

5. Combine the tomatoes and avocado in one bowl.  Add salt and pepper as you like.  Grab a bag of chips, and you’re ready to go!
