I have not so subtly been planning my travels since the middle school days. I used to have always been one to love the idea of foreign cultures. I am such a fan of this exploration that I began studying abroad in high school. Yet, quite often I find myself adding another location to my “Must Visit” list. One spot recently caught my eye. The Lovers Bridge in Paris is very different than most of my admired spots. Brightly colored and covered in locks of all kinds, it’s easy to say it catches one’s eye. On the bridge’s railing couples attach a padlock and throw the key in to river below. It is meant to show everlasting love. Cheesy? Possibly. Yet, I have to say I would love a stroll in front of the colorful symbol of affection. And with a recent start up of a similar bridge in Germany it seems the idea will be further catching on.
