We tend to post a lot about healthy foods during the summer. Probably because everyone wants to get fit and toned for the beach and pool. There is another factor too, however. During the summer months, yummy vegetables and fruits abound. We have more opportunity to experiment with new dishes thanks to the variety of produce available. For instance, spaghetti squash. Ever heard of it? If not, you better become acquainted. This breed of squash is the perfect substitute for pasta. It’s lighter and fresher with a unique taste. You may never want to go back to pasta again. Squash’s cousin, zucchini, is also a tasty, acceptable replacement. Click the links below for ways to prepare this delightfully low-calorie veggie.
