When I Rent the Runway, I really like to get a good bang for my buck. The hard part is, trying to wear the same dress more than once in one weekend! I always want to, but it is a matter of getting creative enough to envision the dress two completely different ways.
Last summer, I rented the fabulous Parker Pop Rock Dress. This dress was so fun and after I wore it to the Taylor Swift concert, I could not wait to wear it again! I made it simple that night, trying to channel my inner Swift and went with the dress, a big belt, and my riding boots. It was so fun dancing and singing along all night.
A couple days later, I was off to see a local theatre group put on Chicago! This occasion called for something a little fancier and I felt like this was still the perfect dress. By adding a sheer, wrap sweater, the vibe went from girl’s night to classy evening. The nude shoe and full hair finish off the look!
What I learned from this weekend with Rent the Runway is to not be afraid to wear your rental more than once! When you only get a weekend to wear it, and if you truly love it, then why not wear it again! Now that is a motto to live by.
