As college girls we’re finally old enough to see trends come back that we grew up with. But do you even remember wearing colored jeans? I do, but not many people I’ve talked to say that they remember them. I hope that doesn’t mean I was completely out of style in elementary school and more like elementary school kids just wear bright colors. Then there was that other trend that I’m really loving now! Girls would show up to school wearing a bunch of bracelets, and then some girls wore a tons of those rubber bracelets that had words that described themselves and supported great causes like breast cancer and Live strong which also motivated. Then it was rubber bracelets or bangles now its arm candy in rose gold and neon!
I’m really excited to tell you about Mae Movement. It was created by a mother daughter duo that was vacationing in Nepal. They now sell these Mae bracelets online and the proceeds go towards ending human trafficking. I gave a few Mae bracelets to my mom for mother’s day and she loved them because they went towards a great cause and are cute.
Ettika has redefined charm bracelets. When I think of charm bracelets I think “trying too hard” and glumpy. But these ettika bracelets are made out of colored rope and have little gold charms. I am obsessed with little pops of neon with a nice classy neutral outfit that reminds me of a NY city girl!
I just found the store franchesca’s, I thought it was a little boutique but they have been popping up everywhere. Their clothes are fantastic and the price is reasonable, it’s higher than forever 21 but they have great prices for a boutique! I love pairing my bracelet from franchesca’s with my Ettika charm bracelet.
I purchased the bracelet from because it looked very similar to a bracelet I had seen on Baublebar.com. Baublebar has some great jewelry at great prices!
