Director Oliver Stone returns to the big screen with his new thriller Savages. Blake Lively, Taylor Kitsch, Aaron Johnson and Salma Hayek star in the film based on Don Winslow’s best selling novel.
Savages is about two entrepreneurs from Laguna Beach who run a homegrown weed industry. When the Mexican cartel decides they want to partner up with the two but they refuse the cartel kidnaps their shared girlfriend and a series of vicious ploys ensue to get her back.
If you like movies filled with violence and suspense Savages is the movie for you. I couldn’t take my eyes of the screen. Salma Hayek does a fantastic job as the head of the Mexican cartel. I highly recommend this movie if you are looking for an action filled movie for the summer.
