During the summer months, I practically live out of my beach bag. I find that there are a few essential items absolutely necessary for long days spent in the sun. I’ve picked a few of my favorite summertime basics that come in hand just about every day.
Let’s start with the beach bag. Every year I’m always tempted to purchase a new beach bag. Like I said, I live out of my beach bag in the summertime, so there are some requirements my bag must live up to. Most beach bags come in bright colors, and boast whimsical patterns, which scream summer to me! It’s important for my bag to be waterproof, if not on the outside- definitely on the inside. It’s also important for my bag to have inside compartments in order for me to organize all of my things, and large enough to carry everything without looking overly stuffed. Here is one of my favorite beach bags for this summer that fits the mold of the “perfect beach bag!”

Stay hydrated! I keep my Tervis Tumbler with me at all times in the summer. There are so many different patterns and styles to choose from, and they are perfect for toting around and keeping yourself (and drink) cool.

Now that you have an idea of some of my favorite summertime items, put on your bikini, lather up the sunscreen, and find a good book to read while soaking up the rays!
