Pinterest has expanded my creative abilities exponentially and Michael’s has become my new favorite store. The things you can do with some paint and superglue are endless…. Recently I was inspired to make some pretty cupcake stands and found a great how-to on making cheap but trendy cupcake stands!
The Dollar Tree sells glass candlesticks and small plates or tea saucers that, when glued together make for excellent (and cheap!) cupcake stands. I used some basic paints to color the stands light blue and light green!
Three layers of paint was enough to cover the glass evenly.
Just a dab of super glue along the rim of the candlestick was enough to put together the tea plates and candlesticks into a perfect cupcake stand!
…Now to make some cupcakes to place on these colorful stands!
