Sumer is one of my favorite seasons for a few different reasons. My seasonal depression finally disappears, I’m able to replenish my bank account, and there are tons and tons of Music Festivals to attend! Whether it be Bonnaroo, Coachella, or Lollapalooza, preparation is very important.

1) Who Says Comfort Can’t be Cute?

Most Music Festivals last 1-3 days, which means you will be on your feet for 1-3 DAYS!! Who wants to be worried about their scratched feet and blistered toes when your favorite band is performing? A cute yet trendy solution to sore soles would be wearing closed-toe shoes. A pair of old Converse will do the trick.

2) Hydration Station

Keep in mind that it’s summertime, and the weather is most likely going to be very HOT!! It’s important to stay hydrated (and I mean with water) throughout these festivals, especially when you’re dancing around and breaking a sweat. Instead of spending $20 on water bottles each day, I recommend bringing your own reusable water bottle that you can refill regularly. You will save yourself money AND the hassle of waiting in line.

TIP: In case you’re craving something sweet, bring a few To-Go packets of Raspberry Lemonade Crystal Light to poor into your water bottle.

3) Arrive in Style

Planning an outfit for each day takes some serious strategy. It’s important to consider which bands are playing each day and what genre the band is classified under. For example, if Avicii is playing, then you definitely need to pack your neon clothes. If you look great, then you’ll feel great!
