As summer comes to an end it’s time to get ready for a fresh new school year. I also get excited to wear a new outfit and see all my friends! Wearing your hair in an easy fuss free updo is a great way to wear your hair on the first day of school. As much as I hate to admit it. I would rather spend a few extra minutes in bed then curling my hair in the morning. However, I still want to look put together! So I’ve been doing this hairstyle for a long time and I love it. I get compliments every time I wear it because it looks completley different everytime you do it! All you need to complete this look is a elastic headband and if you have long hair you might need a few bobby pins. I love finding cute headbands from Ulta, Forever 21 or Charming Charlies.
Start with your hair parted down the middle. If you want you can curl your hair but it is not nessecary. I like to do this on second day hair! Next place the headband on your head. Make sure it’s going across the top or middle of your forehead and the very low on the back of your head; kind of like a crown. Then start to tuck your hair underneath the headband in a loop around the elastic. Once all the hair is tucked under you can add a few pins for extra support. Add some hairspray or shine spray for a more polished look. Wear this with a bright neon colored headband now, or a jewel toned headband in the colder months. Pair it with a crystal headband for an event or evening wear .This look is so different but so quick and easy. I hope you try it out when you go back to school this fall. Please comment and tell me if you do and how it turned out!
