You could say I have a sweet tooth. Many sweet teeth would probably be more accurate. In my perfect world, everything would be covered in sugar, and chocolate would be the key- and only- ingredient to a well-rounded, healthy diet. Ever since I was little, I have always been an avid Rice Krispie treat fan, and when I first discovered the delightful “s’more” I was hooked. That’s why I was thrilled to come across this tasty recipe that combined my two favorite treats!
Perfect comfort food for a chilly fall day or a girls’ night in, these delicious indulgences are incredibly easy to make. Because they only require a microwave, and little to no actual cooking skills, they can easily be conjured up in the comfort of your dorm room.
To whip up this yummy treat all you need are Rice Krispies, marshmallows, graham crackers, and melted chocolate. Simply melt your marshmallows in the microwave until completely soft, mix them together with the Rice Krispies, shape them into flat rectangles, and allow them to cool. Next, make a s’more by melting your chocolate in the microwave, and coating your graham crackers with the melted chocolate. Put one large marshmallow in the microwave for a few seconds, so that the marshmallow still maintains its form, but is soft and gooe-y on the inside. Finally, place your marshmallow between the graham crackers, put your s’more between the flat layers of Rice Krispie treats and voila!
But be warned- it’s almost impossible to eat just one!
