So you’ve rented the perfect dress but you still don’t know what to do with your hair… Check out these DIYs I found that demonstrate how to perfectly copy the hairstyle trends featured on the runway during New York Fashion Week!

Oscar de la Renta showcased one of the most popular hair trends blowing up both Pinterest and Youtube. For the lines spring 2013 show, models sported streaks of colors including cotton candy pink, baby blue, and light yellow! Peter Som models also showcased this easy to copy trend!

Sock buns were another trend that kept popping up on the runway! Not only were many of Avril Lavigne’s Abbey Dawn Spring/Summer 2013 collection models sporting poofy sock buns, so were many of the events attendees!

Fishtail braids, of course, were featured many times in NYFW. Tory Burch models sported thick, messy braids that are easy to do and super wearable.
