One of the main things I’ve come to love about campus life is the exposure to different fashions and styles. In my college career, I’ve met so many different groups of women with different styles, cultures, and tastes that have influenced many of my outfit choices and fueled my love for fashion. One of my favorite things to do would be to sit on a bench in the middle of campus or by a large window in the library and see how differently the girls are dressed and try to guess what inspired their choices. Now with the hot weather approaching, girls on campus are in a shoe frenzy as they try to find the hottest sandals and heels for the summer. On April 16, 2014, the lovely campus representatives at Penn State held their annual spring trunk show. Our “Spring Cleaning” theme incorporated charity efforts and pretty spring and pastel decorations.
The very first RTR Spring Trunk Show at DePaul University was a success! On Saturday, April 12 the DePaul Runway Reps were all set up for hosting the perfect spring trunk show. Hours of trying on dresses, L’Oreal Paris giveaways, raffles, and food were soon to come. Continue reading
As the year begins to wind down, Rent The Runway at Texas Tech University held a trunk show to end the spring semester with a bang! The first semester a fashion show was held to promote RTR and it was a success. We were excited to see how the trunk show would turn out. In order to host a trunk show our team had to select dresses from Rent the Runway for girls from our campus to try on.
Duquesne’s Rent the Runway team brought a trunk show to campus this semester to showcase some new styles and to introduce the Rent the Runway brand to all the newly initiated sorority girls.
